FASNY Firemen’s Home in Hudson Celebrates its 125th Anniversary

The Association Of Fire Districts of the State of New York offers our congratulation to FASNY for their dedication to the Fireman's Home in Hudson and its residents. The Fireman's home in Hudson is the only long-term, skilled nursing facility in the country exclusively for volunteer firefighters, their spouses and fire service ladies auxiliary members. 

The FASNY Firemen’s Home kicked off their year long celebrating of its 125th Anniversary May 19 and 20, 2017. The FASDNY event committee planned a great weekend for the residents of the Home, its employees and the entire volunteer fire service.as well as many outstanding event that took place on Saturday as was reported by those in attendance, viewed on Facebook and in the news media outlets

One key highlight occurred during Friday nights celebration kick-off. The Caring Window was unveiled during the memorial service which was held in the FASNY Firemen’s Home chapel. The window represents the dignity and pride of the fire service. Caring for those who have served is a very high priority for FASNY as well as maintaining and improving the Home is a FASNY mission committed to the brothers and sisters who have given so much.
